Lancashire, England's Molly Warburton released her newest single "Gravity" on February 3rd 2023, and it's a very beautiful song. Hailing from Lancaster, Warburton's music includes inspirations ranging from Kate Bush and Fleetwood Mac to KT Tunstall. "Gravity" is all about the feeling of being distant or out of touch with your inspirations and roots. It gives off a very Florence + The Machine feel, it's poppy but it's fun, and I really like it. I especially love the intro, how it fades in and has these reverbed sounding vocals. The bass through the whole song is amazing too, it reminds me of 80s bass lines, like something from a Billy Idol song.
Warburton's voice is beautiful as well, very unique, and flows extremely well with the music, not to mention the beautiful background vocals that come in occasionally. The mood of the song is so cool as well, the atmosphere is so so cool. I also really liked the outro, where it just sort of isolated the vocals, it's so pretty.
Overall, I'm excited to see what other music Molly Warburton will release, and I recommend checking this song out. It's a super fun one, a really feel good song.
